What KANJOOS stores
If you create an account, KANJOOS stores your email address, a one-way password hash, login sessions, watchlist, explicit Saved/Used actions, friend requests and accepted connections. Deal shares are stored only when you explicitly share. KANJOOS has no user-upload, review, payment, or subscription feature.
KANJOOS records normalized search terms and aggregate product outcomes to improve coverage. Searches are not stored with a user, session, or location identifier. Queries containing obvious email addresses, links or long numeric identifiers are excluded. Tagged campaign visits store the campaign tags supplied in the link and, when you are logged in, may be linked to your account. KANJOOS does not use third-party ad trackers or infer purchases from clicks.
Cookies and local storage
A necessary login cookie keeps an account signed in for up to 30 days. Your appearance preference is kept in your browser's local storage. KANJOOS does not use advertising cookies.
Location
Your precise browser coordinates are not sent to or stored by KANJOOS. When you choose Use my location, your browser sends coordinates and its network address directly to OpenStreetMap services for map tiles and optional ZIP lookup. The ZIP is filled into the form and is sent to KANJOOS only if you search. A city or ZIP saved in a watch remains until you remove the watch or delete the account.
Other services
Deal links open merchant or editorial-listing sites, which apply their own privacy practices. Public map tiles and ZIP lookup come from OpenStreetMap services. Leaflet map code is self-hosted, and deal images can load from the named deal source; those services receive ordinary request data such as your network address and browser information. KANJOOS may label affiliate links; opening one can let the destination attribute a later commission.
Retention and your choices
Expired login sessions are deleted during routine startup, and failed-login security records are deleted after one day. Account data remains while the account is open. In Settings you can export your account data, log out other sessions, or delete your account. Account deletion removes the account and associated watchlist, sessions, attributed events, actions, friendships and private shares. Aggregate search/product measurements and public deal evidence are not tied to the deleted account and may remain while needed to operate and measure the service.
KANJOOS does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. KANJOOS does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals because it does not use cross-site ad tracking. If these practices materially change, this page's updated date and text will change before the new practice begins where required.
